• • Can I Buy Kojo?

    Regretfully, Kojo is not for sale. However, we would be happy to get you a quote for building a similar animatronic costume customized to your needs. Just email us with your information and we will get back to you shortly.

  • How much does it cost to hire Kojo?

    Use the form below to email us for a quote. Kojo is a big boy and it takes alot of time, effort, specialized equipment and coffee to transport him safely. The cost will vary depending on the location of the event. Email us the event details and location and we will get back to you right away!

  • Can I wear the costume myself?

    Unfortunately no. While we know everyone would love to rent Kojo for next Halloween the costume is too complex and delicate for that type of rental scenario. When you hire Kojo, the quote includes the cost of the operator(s) required for your performance.

  • How long can an operator stay in the costume?

    For health and safety reasons our operators are limited to half hour intervals inside the costume, followed by a 15 minute break. During large events, the total in-costume time cannot exceed more then 4 hours per day, so multiple operators may be required for larger duration events.

  • Can I hire Kojo for extended performances, say for a theater show?

    We try not to tie Kojo up with a single performance over an extended period of time, but we will seriously consider any requests and get back to you with our decision. Just email us with your ideas and we will do our best to acomodate them!

  • What will Kojo be doing next?

    Kojo has new bookings stacking up on a steady basis. Some private events, some public. The best way to find out what is going on is to subscribe to our YouTube channel and/or like our page on Facebook!

  • Why are the legs not inside the costume?

    One of the most common questions we are asked is "Why aren't the legs inside the costume"? The reason is that a humans legs do not articulate in the same manner as a bipedal dinosaur and the resulting amalgamation will not look realistic at all. Our ankles are set low, right above our heel. A bipedal dinosaur's ankle is high off the ground and resembles that of a backwards knee. By attaching the legs to the operators feet, the costumes legs move realistically with anatomically correct articulation.

  • Shouldn't you wear pants that match the color of the dinosaur?

    While most people assume wearing pants that match the dinosaurs skin would be the best option, actually the desired affect is to wear pants that match the ground you are walking on. You want the operators legs to blend into the surroundings, not the costume. When you match the pants to the dinosaurs color, you ruin the affect of the realistically articulating legs.
